Hi! I’m Erin, owner and principal photographer for E Schmidt Photography. Years ago, a friend started calling me E (his favorite show was Entourage) and it stuck. I’m a wife and a new Mama to Stella; she’ll be 1 in October *sigh*, time flies! I love that with her, every day is new and exciting.
My photography documents moments and memories. I would say my style is a hybrid between
lifestyle and lightly posed portrait. I don’t believe in backdrops or studio work
and I rarely use special lighting. I
like to photograph this way, so that you can really be you in front of the
camera. Most of my sessions take place
outdoors or in your home where you feel most comfortable. Photography is my passion. Usually after a session, you can find me
running straight to my workspace, so I can start editing, because I love
witnessing love!
I live for my family, Diet Coke, Sriracha and celebrity
gossip. I am a huge music lover (I
designed Stella’s nursery around The Beatles) and foodie. I love spending nights out trying new restaurants. I love to travel. My husband and daughter are my inspiration and push me everyday to be the best me I can be.
But most of all, I LOVE what I do. I love meeting new people and producing
beautiful memories. I can’t wait to meet
