E Schmidt Photography in the News {metro detroit photographer}

You might recognize this image from my Etsy page.  The Veggie Bull reminds me of being very small in Detroit.  It is the perfect example of why I love photography.  A simple image can take you back to a moment and make you feel like you were just there.

Meet Miss Emily!  This super cute little lady just turned 1 and I got to hang out with her and her parents over the weekend.  This quiet little one has a lot of energy and definitely made our shoot fun!  I had such a hard time keeping my favorites down to just a few, so in this one, you get a few extras :)

This post is extra special to me because she's mine!  

Stella Evelyn Schmidt was born 10/11/12 at 6 lbs 6 oz and 20.5 inches long.  As it turns out, my baby hates to have her photo taken, which made for an interesting shoot.  Hopefully she'll grow to love it :)

Saturday I spent the day with 6 week old Claire and her two big brothers!  Such a fun & beautiful family!  It was so beautiful to see how much Claire's brothers love her.

Sunday I got to spend the morning with three really cool ladies.  Finley, who was a little over a week old, Lola her big sister and their Mama.  Finley was so curious about the whole thing that she didn't try to close her eyes once!  I guess she was ready for her close up :)
